This seems to be a good cable. The cable itself is much thicker than I thought it would be - thicker than an ordinary USB cable. Hopefully that means it has thicker conductors and better shielding. The female end of the cable is a little bit loose, but that shouldn't be a problem for most applications. I used these cables to run power to different devices in my car, from a 12V-to-USB converter located by the fuse block beneath the kick panel. I secured the end cables (one USB-A to USB-C and one USB-A to Apple lightning) to the female ends by heat-shrinking them together. That way I don't need to worry about their coming apart.
