I still don't know why you'd put the wall wart on the female end; that's the end your computer isn't on, so there's hardly the presumption you have power there, but it worked for my current use-case, (which was plugging a laser engraver into my desktop, in another room, where I don't have to risk accidentally looking at it while it burns.)So far, I've used it once. I used it with a 2.0 appliance, so I'm not 100% certain that it is fully 3.0 compliant, but I'm giving it 5 stars, for now, anyway. It did its job, without drop-outs, and over a 50-foot length.
