We are using color coded cables in a whole house communications system. These were perfect for our application.Did not try the long ones, I have only bought 1ft and 3 ft patches. Great for organizing the network neatly but terribly wasteful packaging, every cable is in it's individual plastic bag, that takes a horrible lot of time to unpack and generates an equally horrible amount of waste. Please reconsider that for bulk packages and it will be totally awesome.Now this is not the best cable out there, my "cable Matters" is surely higher quality. With that said this is a good cable, as its slim, flexible and easy to bend. Being thinner in design makes it much easier to deal with in sharp turns or crowded cable areas. I would be careful on how I pull and bend it as the covering is very thin. For 10 foot length I see NO major problem with it.It’s shielded, line is perfectly thin BUT sturdy. A bit hard to bend but I like that because it means the world gauge is real CAT6. Ive tried the FLAT/space saver ones before and PLEASE don’t get them. I was getting so much hot and cold signals and the speed wasn’t there. Then I read an article where they dissected a flat CAT6 and compared it and as soon as I co a fed the cable to this one, perfect wifi strength.Super thin, I used it to get network connectivity across my basement from the ISP drop to where the main switch is. Fantastic to work with because it is so thin, and I haven't' had any speed issues.Bought these cables and turns out there is no documentation that actual states that they are indeed UL listed not on the cable, packaging, and not in the UL database..... HUGE WASTE OF MONEYI was a little concerned when I first received this because it looks so small but he connectors are well made and it still feels durable.This replaced an old cord and what a difference it has made. I should have replaced my cable a while ago. I hadn't realized how much the old cable was the issue.I used these to connect my Cat6a runs between the patch panel and the switch.
